Please give us a helping hand, donate now to this worthy cause and keep our clinic open. We provide free health care to a community of 6000 people. It currently costs $20,000pa to run our clinic. We employ the doctor, a nurse, a laboratory assistant, and a part-time handyman/courier. Materials, laboratory supplies, and other minor incidentals are also included in this cost. Sanjiwani is looking for new sponsor(s) to meet these needs in the long-term. We endeavour to employ our staff for 12 to 24 months to ensure continuity of the valuable health service we provide. The cost of providing these health services are not high by western standards but they are impossible for the community of Ghandruk. A donation of $4 per week (the price of a cup of coffee) for 12 months will enable 52 patients to be treated at the clinic.
Our challenge is to keep providing this service in the face of new financial challenges.
